Clayton Echard is a former athlete, who played 5 years for the Missouri Tigers at the college level and then played professionally for the Seattle Seahawks. Upon ending his sport career, Clayton found himself in operating rooms all throughout Missouri, working as an orthopedic medical device sales representative. The high-pressure, fast-paced nature of the job was a natural fit coming from a similar environment that is pro football.

After 5 years in medical sales, Clayton felt an urge to step outside of his comfort zone and do something he never anticipated he’d ever try, which was to go on reality tv and compete against 29 other men for the heart of one bachelorette. While he did not end up as the final suitor, he was then asked to be the lead of Season 26 of The Bachelor, which he accepted the offer without hesitation.

Today, Clayton is spending his time advocating for mental health and finding new ways to better his physical and emotional wellness. Through the lessons that he learns, he hopes to share and positively impact others!
